Dear Valued Patient and Friend,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued trust and confidence in permitting me to care for you and your dental needs through the years. It is with this trust in mind that I am announcing the sale of my practice. It has been an honor treating all the patients that have come to me over the years. I consider many of you not just patients, but also friends. 

After careful consideration and to ensure that my patients continue to receive the best possible care, I have selected Dr. Rima Patel to assume ownership of my practice. Dr. Patel has been in the community for over 20 years and has several practices nearby which will allow for a smooth transition. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and has completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Patel has earned a Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction achieved by only 2% of general dentists. Her goal is to continue the quality of care you have received and come to expect over the years. 

To ensure a smooth transition, I plan to maintain a presence at the office and help in any way I can. Dr. Patel and her team of providers will enhance our ability to care for you, increase the range of services provided in the office, and provide more flexibility with appointment days and times. I am excited about the collaboration we are forming with Dr. Patel. I can assure you that not only is she an exceptional clinician, but she also shares the same compassionate approach that we strive to provide to our patients. 

I know you will be pleased with Dr. Patel and her team of carefully selected providers and show her the same courtesy and loyalty that you have shown me. We will be working closely over the next several months to ensure that your specific needs are met through this transition. 

I want to thank all of you for allowing me to look after your oral health needs. Many of you were not only patients, but friends who I looked forward to seeing at each visit.
